No not the show. Sorry, I couldn’t come up with a better post title. I turned 24 years old yesterday. Mmmhmm. It feels a whole lot like when I turned 23. That is to say, boring and uninteresting. All the fun birthdays are past D: . But oh well, at least the number 24 is more aesthetically appealing to me than 23 :P

Oh yea, and today is Christmas! So that’s cool.

I’d like to thank everyone who has taken the time out of their day to send a PM or a post wishing me a happy birthday. I was really surprised at how many people bothered to do that. It really means a lot. Be sure to have a safe and fun holiday everyone!

Look at what I had to wake up to yesterday.

It’s December

Happy December everyone! It’s my favorite month out of the year, plus it’s snowing today! Also, I felt compelled to post something since I haven’t for a good month now.

The site has been updated to WordPress 3.0.2!

So yea, things are so quite here nowadays. I know no one reads these posts anymore. Or if someone does, they are so utterly bored that they cannot bring themselves to post a comment. By this point I’d even welcome bot spam comments :( . Eh, not really :P

I guess I should at least given an update on what’s going on with me and my projects these days. I’m still working vigilantly on Vela Pax; I finished the layout, detail, and lighting for it a few weeks ago. And I actually started on some of the gameplay bits not too long ago, but I’ve been too busy with school to work on it in recent weeks. I’ll post some screenshots of the map [MAP05] when it’s all done. Supplice has had a spit of activity too. I finally finished up the color palette for it so I’ll be able to move forward with graphics again soon (mostly texture stuff). But that’s about all I’ve been able to accomplish. The good news is that my semester is coming to and end in about a week’s time! All I have to worry about are exams. Wish me luck! :)

Although I haven’t been totally bogged down with schoolwork; I’ve actually used some of my free time for other things than Doom mapping, if you can believe that. I think I needed a break. Anyways, I’ve been playing some games, which is something I haven’t done in a long while and I actually enjoyed it. I played through Cave Story again to get all of the hidden goodies and the super hard ending. I’ve also been playing a good bit of Minecraft, although it’s frozen on me twice since my last playthrough so I haven’t been paying it much attention. Halo Reach has also been demanding a lot of my free time as well. I really enjoy that game for some reason :P . But I imagine by the time this semester is over, I’ll be back to my ole Doom mapping habits again!
